Yeah, you never want to put metal in the microwave. Thanks to my hotel for making a sign.

From Freek Dekker in The Netherlands, this sign reads: If the tap has not been used for 72 hours let it run for 10 minutes. Ehm… how do I know it’s NOT been used for 72 hours? Let’s WASTE water!  

I’m not sure this could possibly be a real mistake… but a friend claims a friend in Australia took this picture, but it’s a sign you can actually buy online.

Not sure what problem this sign is solving…. are there times when the door is locked, contraindicating their open status? (from a doctor’s clinic)

Not sure how this hospital sign helps prevent infections:

  There has to be a more systemic fix than just asking staff to be careful… staff are always supposed to double check meds anyway…
